OMG you guys!..

...I think its jerseylicious on the tv that rubs off on me. Who watches those shows anyway? (i have the tv on as company, and theres really nothing good on on a sunday morning)

So the OMG is not only from jerseylicious rubbing off, cause im making progress in the supposed-to-be-crepe-turned-into-burda-easy-dress! (When its done im probably gonna call it Gwen, until i get a more actual Gwen dress with buttons and all..)

Ive been stuck with the neckline facing for some days, and a school paper took my time. Today i finally got ahead! I just couldnt understand how to do, and I thought my facing were too big for the neckhole. After searching through Gerties Crepe sewalong, colettes tutorials and what not, I found this perfect video.

Change of plans

The crêpe is just not getting itself started. So i bought a copy of burda easy and is "whipping" up a simple dress out of the polka dot meant for the crepe. Wish me luck!

diy painted tee

I saw this tutorial on Sweet Verbena a couple of weeks ago and thought I try it out on a tee before jumping on the poncho ive been talking about. I found this plain grey one in boyfriends closet and knew he wouldnt care, hes a plaid shirt guy anyways and if he goes for a tee, it has a print :)

Excuse my bad pictures, was left with my phone since boyfriend brought the compact to a beer festival. Im really happy with the result, especially for being the first try. Since i dont have a printer i just cut triangles from folded paper and used as stencils. Next step is to take it in to fit me properly.

Spring wreath!

With my cold almost being gone, a day off, and nice spring weather, ofc its time for a spring wreath for the door. Lazy and poor as I am I just took what I could find at home. The wreath is the same we used for the christmas wreath, I took it apart when we took down the christmas decorations. I had some scraps over from the kitchen curtains Ive made before, and some lace scraps Ive bought somewhere, sometime that I dont really remember. And heres a playlist while working, Bring it, Ladies!

I fumbled around with the yarn and fabric to make some kind of decoration but none of it turned out great so i went for a simple and clean look. If I had some yellow felt Id probably make som kind of flowers (So many beautiful wreaths!)

Lately

-My parents has bought a new doggie! Her name is Wilma and shes a white, longhaired german shepherd. Very stubborn and supercute!

 

-Glasses!

 -Last week I sat and studied in a part of school Im never in. Unfortunately really, since it has this awesome view. Needless to say studying was hard, I kept looking out at this wind turbine factory.

 -We´ve put up a new netting on the balcony so our little friend can hang out there with us. turned out much better than the last one we had. Very pleased!

  -Been playin a whole lotta Sims freeplay on my iphone. Nostalgic and fun, you should check it out!

 

-Out on a mini roadtrip to a White guide Pizzeria a couple of weeks ago (white guide is a swedish miniversion of michelin). Had to stop and watch these alpackas, funniest animals in the world! 

-A little spring wreath for the door.

Housebound

Im sick at home and Im really biased about it. Ofc I hate being sick and all the annoying things that comes with it (sore throat, cough, lack of sleep etc etc in all eternity) but its nice to be home for once and just hang around, chill out and watch tv. What annoys me is that I cant do anything. I want to bake, sew, make a couple of diys but im just too tired. And it doesnt help sittin on pinterest seeing all these cute outfits and diys while im tied to my velourpants and boyfriends dropkick murphys hoodie. Therefore im now gonna watch pineapple express, i hope its good. Its Seth Rogen, it has to be atleast ok...

Oh, by the way, ive forgotten to show my new (and first ever!) glasses!
